The ceremony and reception will take place in the foyer of building D15 on the Würzburg Medical Campus. Please use the main entrance of D15 (via Josef-Schneider-Str. 2, 97080 Würzburg).
From the venue located opposite our new Institute building, you will be able to watch the ceremony without having to access the construction site.

Construction sites and traffic diversions
Please note that we are located in the midst of several major construction sites on the Würzburg Medical Campus. We kindly ask all road users to use extra caution. Please note that the presence of construction vehicles may occasionally lead to dirt on the roads.
Arriving on Campus
The event will start at 11:00 AM. Due to the construction and parking situation, we recommend arriving on campus no later than 10:30 AM.
By car
Located near two highways (A7 and A3), Würzburg is easily accessible by car. However, the traffic situation on campus is restricted due to construction work, and parking is limited.
We therefore recommend using Versbacher Straße and Am Schwarzenberg (not Josef-Schneider-Str.) to drive directly to the parking garage at ZIM/ZOM. From there, the venue can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot.
By public transportation
Würzburg is well connected to the national railway network. IC and ICE trains depart hourly from Frankfurt, Hanover, and Munich. Detailed timetable information is available at www.bahn.de.
From the main train station, you can reach the medical campus with tram lines 1 and 5. Take the tram at "Hauptbahnhof Ost" in the direction of Grombühl and get off at "Uniklinikum Bereich D". Further information on public transport can be found on the website of the Würzburger Versorgungs- und Verkehrs-GmbH (in German).
Alternatively, take a taxi (phone +49 931-19410) from the main station to Josef-Schneider-Straße 2 (Grombühl), building D15.
The walk from the main station takes about 20 minutes.
