Prof Cesar de la Fuente Nunez - “AI for Antibiotic Discovery”

Cesar de la Fuente Nunez heads a transdisciplinary team of computer scientists, engineers, chemists, peptide scientists, biologists & microbiologists with the mission to use the power of machines to accelerate discoveries in biology and medicine. A major focus is on the use of AI for antibiotic discovery. The team has develop computational methods for mining the human proteome and other proteomes, genomes, and metagenomes across the Tree of Life, including extinct species. The title of his presentation is “AI for Antibiotic Discovery”.
