Prof Colin Hill - “The ongoing dance between bacteria and bacteriophage - lessons from the gut”

The Hill lab is interested in various aspects of infectious disease, particularly in defining the mechanisms of virulence of bacterial pathogens and in developing strategies to prevent and limit the consequences of microbial infections in the gastrointestinal tract. They also work on bacteriocins and bacteriophages as agents to limit the growth of bacteria in food or in the human gut.
