Prof Emma Slack - “Can we eradicate AMR E. coli with oral vaccines?”
Emma Slack’s research focuses on understanding the bidirectional interactions between gut bacteria and the gut immune system, and how these interactions can be manipulated to promote health. This includes developing new oral vaccination concepts to eradicate the carriage of antibiotic-resistant pathogens and to modify gut microbiota function.
