Würzburg Life Science Seminar: Philipp Popp
We cordially invite you to the seminar by Philipp Popp, “Studying bacteriophage-bacteria interactions: Analysis of the Zorya anti-phage defence system at single-cell resolution”. The talk will take place in Building D15, room 01.002-004, at 4 pm.
Dr Philipp Popp - “Studying bacteriophage-bacteria interactions: Analysis of the Zorya anti-phage defence system at single-cell resolution”
The Popp group studies how bacteria interact with their environment and defend themselves against viruses. Using microfluidics and TIRF/live-cell imaging, they investigate bacterial anti-phage defense systems in real time at the single-cell level, mapping how different systems interact and cooperate.
