During her graduate studies at the Rudolf Virchow Center, Disha characterized several protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions involved in DNA repair, epigenetic regulation, and transcription using ensemble and single molecule analysis techniques.
At HIRI, she has just joined the Caliskan lab as a postdoctoral fellow, where she will work on the ERC-funded T-FRAME project. Disha will be focusing on single molecule analysis of translational complexes on the C-TRAP using fluorescent aptamers and SM-FRET.
