Severin has just completed his PhD on the dynamics of single RNA molecules in live cells in the Theoretical Biophysics group of Edda Klipp at the Humboldt University, Berlin.
At HIRI, he is now starting his work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Caliskan lab where he aims to establish the aptamer based imaging techniques to visualize mRNA/translation dynamics in vivo and in vitro using the C-TRAP.
