Dr Chunyu Liao
About
Chunyu obtained her PhD degree in Microbiology from Iowa State University in December 2015. During her PhD study with Dr Laura Jarboe, she worked on exploring genetic factors driving attachment of bacteria to environmental particles. As a PostDoc in the Beisel lab, her current research focused on investigating mechanisms of crRNA biogenesis and developing tools for CRISPR-based high-throughput screens.
