Patrick Bohn

About

Patrick studied at the Baltic Sea for an MSc in human biology in May 2019 from the University of Greifswald, where he worked at the Friedrich-Loeffler Institute to study innate immunity interactions between arenaviruses and host cells. After a short stay in an immunology lab in Essen he decided to join the HIRI in January 2020 to investigate molecular details about RNA viruses for a PhD in the group for Genomes Architecture of RNA Viruses. His objective is to apply new sequencing technology to study viral RNA genomes. In his spare time, he likes to cook and 3D print nice-looking but not yet very useful things.
