Yan Zhu

Yan Zhu obtained her MSc in Bioengineering from the Wuhan Institute of Virology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in June 2018. During her master studies, she worked on the mechanism of the transcription initiation process in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. She joined the Vogel group for an internship in June 2019. From September 2019, she continued as a PhD student to focus on the discovery and characterization of RNA-binding proteins in the cancer-associated oral cavity germ Fusobacterium nucleatum.
