Dr Pedro Olivares Chauvet

Pedro Olivares Chauvet obtained his PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom) in 2013. He subsequently completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot (Israel), working on chromosome conformation capture methods, and at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin (Germany), where he developed computational and experimental platforms for single-cell lineage tracing. He then worked as a visiting scientist at the Weizmann Institute of Science on lineage tracing in cancer models before joining the lab of Camilla Ciolli Mattioli at the HIRI, where he is developing a single-cell dual RNA-seq methodology.
