Würzburg Life Science Seminar: Alex Borodavka
We cordially invite you to the seminar by Alex Borodavka. The talk will take place in Building D15, room 01.002-004, at 5 pm.
Prof Alex Borodavka - "Learning the RNA Jigsaw Rules from Viruses with Multi-segmented Genomes"
The Borodavka lab integrates cutting-edge single-molecule biophysics, fluorescence spectroscopy, and molecular virology to tackle challenges in RNA virus biology, including genome stability and assembly. Specifically, they explore phase transitions and maturation of rotavirus viroplasms - specialized organelles known as viral factories - to uncover their role in rotavirus replication and the packaging of the viral eleven-segmented RNA genome.
