Würzburg Life Science Seminar: Juana Diez
We cordially invite you to the seminar by Juana Diez. The talk will take place in Building D15, room 01.002-004, at 5 pm.
Dr Juana Diez - "The host tRNA epitranscriptome: a new player in viral infection"
The Diez lab studies how positive-strand RNA viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 and mosquito-borne viruses such as dengue or chikungunya, hijack the host cell’s translation machinery. They leverage their findings to develop novel antiviral strategies. In her talk, entitled ‘The host tRNA epitranscriptome: a new player in viral infection’, Juana will share recent insights into how virus-induced alterations of the host cell epitransciptome favors viral RNA translation.
