Prof Mario Feldman - "Biogenesis of Outer Membrane Vesicles in Human Gut Bacteria"
Research in the Feldman lab focuses on the pathobiology of Acinetobacter baumannii, microbial glycobiology, and the biogenesis of outer membrane vesicles (OMVs), which play a critical role in host-microbe interactions, immune modulation, and antibiotic resistance. In his talk, entitled ‘Biogenesis of Outer Membrane Vesicles in Human Gut Bacteria’, he will share recent insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying OMV biogenesis in human gut bacteria.
