About
Manon Janet-Maitre obtained her PhD from the University Grenoble Alpes (France) in May 2022. Her PhD focused on the responses of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to various envelope stresses. She then joined the lab of Mario Feldman at the Washington University in St Louis (Missouri, USA), where she studied the biological relevance of the intracellular lifestyle of Acinetobacter baumannii during lung infection. She joined the Vogel group in February 2026, where she will be investigating the use of RNA-directed antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) to target infections by Klebsiella pneumoniae. Outside the lab, she enjoys learning new crafts, swing dancing, and travelling with friends.
