Josep Llobet

Josep Llobet completed his MSc in 2025 within the Master’s program in Biosciences at the University of Würzburg. For his master’s thesis, he joined the Saliba lab, where he received training in plate-based sequencing techniques and subsequent bioinformatic analysis of single-cell data. In November 2025, he began his doctoral studies, which he is currently pursuing in collaboration with Sabrina Kraus from the University Hospital Würzburg. His research focuses on developing novel approaches to elucidate the role of HCMV-specific T cells during viral reactivation following allogeneic stem cell transplantation. In his spare time, he maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying cycling, hiking, and swimming.
