About
Fergal Hamrock obtained his MSc and PhD in Microbiology at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, where he worked in Carsten Kröger’s group investigating post-transcriptional regulation by small RNAs in the priority pathogen Acinetobacter baumannii. In 2025, he joined the Faber lab as a postdoctoral researcher. His current work applies single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to Clostridioides difficile to uncover cellular heterogeneity and its role in pathogenesis.
