Gianluca Prezza

About

Gianluca comes from Udine (Italy) and completed his MSc in Life Sciences at the University of Würzburg in 2017. During his Masters, he worked on mRNA alternative polyadenylation in motor neurons. He joined the Westermann lab as a PhD student in October 2018 and since works on the establishment of CRISPR-based techniques to functionally study Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron small RNAs at the host-microbe interface.
