Hanna Weidt

Having obtained a master’s degree in Biomedicine, Hanna Weidt joined the Vogel lab as PhD student in October 2025. Her research focusses on using antisense oligomers (ASOs) to target mRNAs of enzymes in members of the human skin microbiome. The ultimate goal is to inform a new type of a treatment for unpleasant body odor, with applications in both the cosmetic industry and the clinic.
