New @ HIRI: Ameya Sinha

The HIRI family warmly welcomes Ameya Sinha!

After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, Ameya did his PhD in the labs of Peter Preiser at NTU and Peter Dedon at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Ameya then served as a research fellow at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART). He is an expert in all things RNA and has a passion for mass spectrometry.

Ameya just joined the HIRI as a postdoctoral researcher. In the Munschauer lab, he will dissect RNA-binding proteins at the virus-host interface using novel single-cell RNA sequencing based approaches.
