On February 10, Ricarda Riegger successfully defended her doctoral dissertation. Ricarda joined the Helmholtz Institute Würzburg in 2021, undertaking her PhD studies in the Recoding Mechanisms in Infections research group under the supervision of Neva Caliskan. During her time in the Caliskan lab, she contributed to a deeper understanding of the role of protein-mediated ribosomal frameshifting in HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 infections.
Congratulations, Ricarda!
