Successful HIRI Mini-Symposium "RNA & Infection”
Two days of talks, poster presentations, and networking
On June 12 and 13, group leaders, postdocs, and PhD students of the Helmholtz Institute Würzburg (HIRI) as well as cooperating researchers met for the HIRI Mini-Symposium "RNA & Infection". For two days, almost 90 scientists had the opportunity to discuss their research, to network, and to bounce their ideas.
After a short welcome by Jörg Vogel, Director of HIRI and IMIB, the group leaders had the opportunity to introduce their research and laboratories. Another focus of the event was on young scientists; during short talks and poster presentations, they had the chance to share their ambitious research projects with the entire institute.
The surroundings away from the usual working environment promoted exchange and revealed synergies between the researchers.
