Successful Doctoral Defense at HIRI

Anuja Kibe presented her PhD thesis

On February 28, Anuja Kibe successfully defended her doctoral dissertation. Anuja joined the HIRI in 2018. She conducted her doctoral project in the Recoding Mechanisms in Infections research group with principal investigator and primary supervisor Neva Caliskan. In the Caliskan lab, she studied non-canonical translation events in immune cells in response to viral infection.

Anuja already holds a subsequent agreement: she will continue to do research in the Caliskan group.
