On October 6, Fabian Imdahl successfully defended his doctoral dissertation. After obtaining his MSc in Microbiology at the University of Würzburg in 2018, Fabian joined the HIRI. He conducted his doctoral project in the Single-Cell Analysis research group with principal investigator and primary supervisor Emmanuel Saliba. In the Saliba lab, he investigated host-pathogen interactions at the single-cell level.
Fabian remains committed to the research topic of single-cell analysis: he now holds the position of project manager and application specialist in the Single-Cell Center Würzburg.
