Successful doctoral defense on anti-CRISPR proteins

Katharina Wandera has completed her PhD studies

Katharina Wandera has successfully defended her dissertation in August. She joined the Helmholtz Institute Würzburg in 2018 and conducted her doctoral project in the RNA Synthetic Biology research group under the supervision of Chase Beisel. Her research focused on the discovery and characterization of anti-CRISPR proteins and their identification using a cell-free transcription-translation system.

Congratulations, Katharina!
