Emmanuel Saliba, an expert in single-cell analysis and head of the research group of the same name at the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI) Würzburg, is now the spokesperson for the Single-Cell Center. He takes over from HIRI director Jörg Vogel, who will continue to serve the Würzburg technology center as deputy spokesperson. Dominic Grün from the Institute for Systems Immunology also joins the group of spokespersons as a deputy.
