RNA Collaborative Lightning Talk Competition: Lukáš Pekárek wins first prize
Member of the Caliskan group has been awarded
Lukáš Pekárek, PhD student at the Helmholtz Institute Würzburg, won the first prize of 150 US dollars in the RNA Collaborative Lightning Talk Competition for his talk “RNA Stretch Out”. The competition, which was part of an online workshop, was organized and sponsored by the RNA Society and the RNA Collaborative.
Lukáš Pekárek joined Neva Caliskan's lab in 2019. He is currently working on the use of single-molecule techniques to unveil the mechanisms of programmed ribosomal frameshifting.
