HIRI team members visited the construction site of the new HIRI building

Interested HIRI team members ventured into the deep on Thursday, April 11. Accompanied by Tobias Kerrinnes, Head of Scientific Infrastructure, Rolf Heinrich Troeder, Project Manager, and Sebastian Stockmann, Facility Technician, they descended into the excavation pit of the new HIRI building. From a slightly elevated concrete platform at a depth of about eight meters, they observed the installation of the floor slab and posed questions about the construction site and the new institute building. Further site visits are scheduled for April.
