A glimpse into the future
Employees explore the new HIRI building
The new building of the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI) is steadily growing and is scheduled for completion in 2027. Today, interested HIRI employees had the opportunity to get an exclusive first look at the future institute premises.
Led by Tobias Kerrinnes, Head of Scientific Infrastructure at the HIRI, the one-hour long tour took participants through the developing new building. They gained exciting insights into the architecture of the building and the planned work and research areas that will form the new home of the HIRI from 2027 onwards.
Due to the great interest in the institute's new building, three more tours will be offered in the coming weeks. These will give employees the opportunity to take an early look behind the scenes of the new building and experience the institute's future working environments up close.
